Authentication Preferences

Top  Previous  Next

The authentication information set here will be used, by default, for all new Deployments. Each deployment can override these settings.

Use Current Authentication

This option uses the credentials of the user that is running the application. Only use this option if the current user is a domain user with administrative rights.

Use Other Authentication

Use this option to provide a user name and password to authenticate to the target computers. Even if the current user is a domain admin, you may still need to provide a name and password (depending on a number of factors specific to each installer.)

Domain\User Name & Password

Enter the domain\user and password to be used to authenticate

Always Use This Authentication

Use this option to save the above settings for future use. This will save you having to type the information in every time. The settings can still be overridden by other deployments.
