Computer

List each computer to receive the deployment. Computers can be listed with their fully qualified domain name, their short name, or their IP address.

Import

Import a text file containing computer names. Files can also be imported by dragging and dropping from Windows Explorer. The following file formats are allowed.

Format	Description
.aatargets	This is a file created by using the Export command (see below.)
.txt	Text files. Each line is imported as a computer name.
.csv	Comma Separated Values files. The values from the first column are imported as computer names.

Export

Use the Export menu item to export the list of computers to a file for use with other deployments.

Active Directory

Opens the Browse Active Directory Window window to get computer names from Active Directory.

AA Console

Opens the Browse AA Console Collections Window window to get computer names from AA Console.

DNS Lookup

As targets are added to the list they are looked up in DNS to ensure that the names are valid. An icon will appear to the right of the computer name indicating whether it was found. Hover over the icon to get more details. Note, IP addresses will be checked to see if there is a reverse lookup, but no other checking is done so they will always show success.
