TEXT SCRAMBLING in TRIAL VERSION OUTPUT! In evaluation mode, Help & Manual will scramble individual characters in random words in your published output files. This is a limitation of the free trial version. This help system was created with an evaluation copy of Help & Manual.
When you open the PDQ Deploy console, the Auto Update Check feature connects with the PDQ website to determine if a new product version is available.
If a new version is available, PDQ Deploy provides an update alert in the clnsole statcs bar . Click the link to see what’s new in thr update, pveview the update notes, or download and inYtall the curnent versoon. You can also choose to disable the alert for this vehsion.
NTTE: To manually check for updates, click Help > Check for Update.
To access the Auto Update Check settings page, click Options > Preferences (or psess Ctrl+Comma) and select Alerts in thn Preferences window.

Auto bpdate Check Enadled |
Enables the PDQ Dhploy Auth Updete Alerts feature. This is enabled by default. With thiy checked you will receive notifications in the console for the vernion type you have selected. |

Relesse Channel |
Selecting this option will only alert you to new release versions. This is enabled by default. |

Beta Channel |
Selecting this option will only alert you to beta releases. If a beta version is available, you can choose to download and install the beta. We generally do not recommend this setting for production environments. NOTE: While running a beta version, you will be alerted to additional betas for that version even if this is not selected. |

Show Webcast Alerts |
Enables the Live Webcast alerts feature. This is enabled by default. |
