Sharing (Enterprise mode required)

This feature allows you to share your PDQ Deploy packages and access Shared packages from other PDQ Deploy users in your Enterprise.

Share My Packages – Enable this to share your packages with other users.

Access Shared Packages – Enable this to see and access shared packages from other users.

Path

This value needs to be the UNC path to an accessible shared folder. Every PDQ Console that is configured to share or access shared packages must use the same path. A database will automatically be created in this path for each console configured to share packages. In the example we use the path

\\deadwood.local\trey\AA_Data\PDQ\Shared_DB

The name of each database file will the respective computer name of each PDQ Deploy console.

Title

This is the name that will be displayed on other PDQ Deploy consoles. By default this will be the name of the sharing console computer. You may change this value however the actual database file name will always be <computername>.shared.db
