Schedules |
Packages can have schedules attached to them which allow the background service to start deployments automatically. There is no limit to the number of schedules which can be applied to a package. A schedule can also be attached to multiple packages. Pro Mode is required in order to use schedules.
If schedules overlap only one deployment will be started. For example, two schedules for Every Monday at Noon and Every Day at Noon will not start two deployments every Monday. Disabling a schedule will prevent that schedule from running. TargetsEach schedule includes a set of targets. These are the computers that will receive a deployment when the schedule is triggered. The types of targets that can be used are the same as for the target lists. NotificationsPDQ Deploy can send out a notification of a completed deployment to e-mail recipients. For this feature to work the Mail Server Preferences need to be set.
