Running the PDQ Inventory software requires the following:
PDQ Inventory Computer (where the software is installed)
| • | Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP 1 or later. |
| • | Minimum of 2 GB RAM and 5 GB Disk (more depending on how many Computers and Collections are in the database). |
Scanned Computers
| • | 1 GB RAM and 20 MB Disk (more depending on how many Computers and Collections are in the database). |
Network Connectivity/Firewall
| • | File and Printer Sharing
At a minimum must have read/write access to the ADMIN$ share and the service manager. |
| • | Firewall exception for File and Printer Sharing |
| • | Administrative account
Account can be either an Active Directory domain account or local to the computer being scanned. |
