Computers being Scanned by PDQ Inventory require Microsoft .NET Framework (version 3.5 SP 1 or later) to be installed. This panel configures whether and how .NET Framework is installed automatically (if needed).

Automatically Install .NET
|
When checked .NET will automatically be installed before the computer is scanned. .NET Installer File, below, must be available for this installation to occur.

Download .NET Now
|
Downloads the .NET installer from Microsoft and places it in the %ProgramData% folder for use when installing.

.NET Installer File
|
The path to the installer file used when scanning computers. If not using the Download .NET Now button then this path can be to the installer file downloaded separately (see below).

Install Timeout
|
The timeout used for installing .NET. If the installer takes longer than this time, it will be aborted.

Manual Download
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP 1 can be downloaded from Microsoft using this link.
Manual Install
When .NET is not configured to install automatically you can install .NET by using the Install .NET and Scan menu item.
