This page controls the configuration of the columns on the Custom Fields page of the Computer window. Custom Fields are useful for information you want to track for computers that is not obtained through scanning (for example, asset tag numbers, warranty information, purchase date, etc.). Once Custom Fields are added here, you can then input custom data for each computer on the Computer window. Additionally, information can be imported directly from a .csv file. For importing instructions, see this knowledge base article. Custom field columns can also be made viewable on all Collection pages using the Edit Columns window. (Enterprise mode is required to configure Custom Fields). You can view more information about Custom Fields in the following video.
Custom Fields can also be imported directly from a .csv file. Click on Import Wizard and choose the import file to be used. For more information, see Custom Fields Import Wizard. For importing instructions using the Command Line, see this knowledge base article.
