Connect to IPC$ Share

The IPC$ share is necessary to allow for remote communication to various services on a computer. Without it being available, very little can be done to remotely administer a computer.

This test tries to connect to the IPC$ share using the authentication specified.

Common Problems

The most common problem is a firewall blocking access to the share.

Other, less common problems, are the Server service not running or file sharing disabled.
