PDQ Inventory Rollup

PDQ Inventory Rollup is a server product from Admin Arsenal which combines the databases from multiple PDQ Inventory consoles into a single database for reporting purposes.

The settings in PDQ Inventory allow for either uploading this console's database to the Rollup server or for downloading data from the Rollup server to report on locally.  These settings can be configured using the Rollup Preference.

Upload

Uploading to a server periodically copies the local database to the server for inclusion in the merged database. The settings will be provided by the Rollup server administrator.

Download

Download periodically copies all or part of the Rollup server database to the local database.  This allows for the PDQ Inventory reporting and collections to used on the computers and inventory from other consoles.

Note:  When downloading from a Rollup server automatic scanning and automatic heartbeat are disabled to prevent the console from needlessly accessing the network.  These features can still be run manually.
