Auto Cleanup

How often to clean up past Scans.  Default is 14 days.

Scan Caching

Scan Caching can reduce the number of Inventory Scans that are sent to target computers. It is available in Enterprise mode and is intended for environments that run multiple PDQ Inventory consoles.

Read from Cache

Enable this option if this console will first check with the Scan Cache before scanning target computers. If data for a target is found in the cache and that data is within the Scan Age (this is described below) then the data from the cache will be written to the local Console’s database

Use Cache Exclusively
(do not directly scan computers)

Enable this option if the PDQ Inventory Console should never initiate scans on target computers. Only data from the Scan Cache will be used.

Write To Cache

Enable this if you want data collected from an inventory scan to be added to the Scan Cache.

Path

This will be the network path to the folder containing the GLOBAL scan cache. All consoles that participate in Scan Caching must use this path. The name of the scan cache database is PDQInventory.ScanCache.db

Scan Age

This scan age is relative to the current time. Data will only be used from the Scan Cache if it was collected within this window. If scan data for a target is outside of the Scan Age then the local Console will attempt the scan as per the Offline Policy.
